Water Trumpet is the latest album by the Italian trumpet player Giacomo Tantillo. Conceived in the space of two years, between Sicily and the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Water Trumpet shines the audacious and visionary spirit of his compositions, which mix tradition and melodies with a Mediterranean flavor, imbued with a lyricism that makes them unmistakable.
Along with Tantillo’s trumpet, the Giacomo Tantillo 4et includes Andrea Rea at the piano, Gabriele Evangelista on double bass and Enrico Morello on drums, musicians who have enriched the project with their personal vision of music.
The Giacomo Tantillo 4et will start the concert with two songs from the 1960s in honor of the Institute’s birthday.
The concert is organized with the support of I-Jazz. The Italian Association I-Jazz was born on 1st February 2008. It collects some of the best known and followed Italian jazz festival from North to South also including the islands.
