A lesson/workshop dedicated to the vast and versatile design production of Gio Ponti. The workshop is organized by IED Milano and held by Jacopo Manganiello. The participants will analyze one of the iconic objects designed by Ponti and, breaking the rules of immutability and immortality, they will try to create their own iconic object. Workshop results will be displayed at the Italian Cultural Institute as part of the 16th “Settimana della lingua italiana del mondo”. The best work will be awarded a short-course scholarship at IED and the Italian Cultural Institute will contribute to the travel expenses.
