The European Film Festival, organized by EUNIC Stockholm and The European Commission, gathers eleven films with an aim ”to illustrate and inspire action for environmental sustainability and empowering women and girls.” This weekend of cinema and discussions gathers films of great variety in formal approaches and formats, engaging in some of the crucial topics of our times: films sounding the alarm on the prevailing climate crisis, films asking acute questions concerning biodiversity and scarcity of water resources, but also films looking at the precarious and vulnerable conditions experienced by many women and girls.
EUNIC – European Union National Institutes for Culture – is the European network of organisations engaging in cultural relations from all EU member states.
The Italian Cultural Institute is proud to present ”Ariaferma” (The Inner Cage) by Leonardo Di Costanzo.
