In collaboration with Stockholm Design Week, the Italian Cultural Institute will take part in the Open Space program with ”A casa di Gio”.
Two special guided free tours of the Institute on the 8th of September 2022, from 6 to 7 pm (English) and on the 9th of September 2022, from 4 to 5 pm (Swedish). During Stockholm Design Week, a number of creative studios, locations and private residences will open their doors to the public. The Open Space program provides a rare glimpse into a number of Stockholm most impressive spaces.
Our special visit will give the opportunity to appreciate the original interiors which include very rare prototypes and unique pieces, that are shown now for the first time after a recent renovation. To appreciate Gio Ponti´s peculiar sense for the domestic space, we will make exceptionally available for the visitors one of the three apartments of the residence that is located on the second floor, with a striking view over Gärdet.
