On the occasion of the ”Lina Wertmüller. Behind the White Glasses” series of screenings dedicated to the Italian director Lina Wertmüller, the movie ”Love and anarchy” will be presented on Wednesday, November 6th in the auditorium of the Italian Cultural Institute.

Synopsis:
The film begins´with Tunin (Giancarlo Giannini) learning that his friend, an anarchist who was plotting to kill Benito Mussolini, has been killed by Mussolini’s fascist police in the countryside. Tunin decides to take up the cause his friend died for. Tunin with Salomé (Mariangela Melato) and Tripolina (Lina Polito) plans the assassination of Benito Mussolini, with an unexpected ending.
